Slash Pine EMC takes pride in serving its members with courteous and professional customer service. Meeting your electrical needs is our utmost commitment, whether it is helping you apply for a new service or with your concerns of an existing account.

  • You may visit our office at 794 West Dame Avenue, Homerville, Georgia, Monday through Friday, between to the hours of 8am and 4pm. If you would rather not come into the office click the link below and you may apply online. If applying online, it can take up to 24 hours to receive a response to the email address provided in the online application.  You will then be required to email or fax some of the items listed below:

    •  Proof of identification including picture

    •  Social Security Number

    •  Lease Agreement or Proof of Ownership

    •  Pay $5.00 membership fee and $25.00 account set up fee

    •  Pay Security Deposit up to $500.00 based on your personal credit history: refundable upon closing your account if you choose our Traditional Billing Method

  • Call or go by Slash Pine EMC's office and provide the following:

     • Proof of identification

     • Pay additional deposit (if required) and connect fees

  • Call or go by Slash Pine EMC's office and provide the following:

     • Proof of identification

     • Date of Disconnect

     • Forwarding mailing address for forwarding of any outstanding bill and/or return of deposit.

  • The program is available a pay-as-you-go program for non-demand residential accounts only. At time of applying for new electric service, the member will be required to pay:

    Membership Fee: $5.00 (New Member Applicant Only)

    Deposit: $50.00

    Account Establishment/Transfer Fee: $25.00

    Advance Credit Minimum: $50.00

    Any Outstanding Debt/Fees

    ​A member may choose to convert their existing post-pay account to this program. Please call our office for details. Not all residential accounts qualify for the pre-pay program.

  • Welcome to Slash Pine EMC’s online account access.This is a convenient 24 hour service for our members, allowing you to view and pay your bill online by check or credit card. You can feel secure with your online transactions knowing that Slash Pine EMC’s secure socket layer (SSL) software is the industry standard for e-commerce. And your payments are made in real-time, avoiding any late payment fees.

  • Slash Pine EMC offers several options in making your monthly payment. You may pay your bill online, by mail or at our office. Automatic bank draft is also available to qualified members, and VISA and MasterCard are accepted.

    With automatic bank draft, you still receive your bill so you have a copy of your electric use as well as the amount to be drafted from your bank account before the draft is made. Contact one of customer representative for details.

    Each of these forms will need to be printed, filled out and returned to our office to be processed.

  • The automatic bank draft program allows you to authorize Slash Pine EMC to deduct your monthly electric bill from your checking account. You will still receive a bill each month that you may use to track the amount being withdrawn from your account. Your bank account will be charged on or around the 3rd of each month. The benefits of this program include:

    • Your bill will always be paid on time

    • No more driving to the office

    • No more stamps to purchase

    • No more checks to write

    • No worries when you go on vacation

    You can apply for the Automatic Bank Draft Program by completing, printing and mailing the Application, by calling Slash Pine EMC or by visiting our office. You will need to provide us with the following information:

    • Proof of Identification

    • Voided or cancelled check

  • Light up your nights with an outdoor light. It's a cost-effective way to bring peace of mind and security to your home and property. If an additional SPEMC pole is not required, it will cost you as little as $8.00 a month.

     What are the benefits?

    Convenience - Enjoy extended outdoor hours. Photo-electrically controlled lights automatically turn on at dusk and off at dawn.

    Safety - Accidents do happen, but you can reduce the risk by having well-lighted sidewalks, driveways, foot paths and grounds.

    Added Security - Lighting dark are as discourages suspicious or criminal activity and brings you peace of mind.

    Our outdoor lighting service is an inexpensive way to provide your home or business added security, safety and convenience. A low monthly rate includes automatic dusk to dawn lighting and maintenance. Usually there is no installation fee. If a pole or transformer must be added where no existing pole is located in the area the light is needed, an additional cost will be charged for these materials. The monthly fee for outdoor lighting service is added to the electric bill. Call the office for outdoor lighting rates. Some residents in our service area are also eligible for subdivision street lighting through local government services. Contact our representatives or your local government agency to see if street lighting is available in your subdivision/area.

    Slash Pine EMC offers a variety of outdoor lighting choices to meet residential, commercial and industrial needs.

    How Does It Work?

     Outdoor lighting is an inexpensive way to give you convenience, safety and security. A flat monthly rate covers energy and includes the automatically controlled lamp and fixture. The lights can be installed on an existing pole or CGEMC can provide a wooden or metal pole at a slight additional charge. The lights are available in wattages ranging from 100 to 1000 watts. Depending on your requirements, wiring can be either overhead or underground. After installation, outdoor lighting remains the property of CGEMC and will be maintained by SPEMC.

When you call to report an interruption to your electric service, please be prepared to give the dispatcher your name, address, account number and telephone number. This helps us process the higher volume of incoming calls that result when service is interrupted.
